Director of Photography-FOGG
Tamara graduated with a BFA degree and has been enjoying a successful career in still photography for the past 25 years.
Recently she has been shooting, directing and editing small documentary stories as well as acting as director of photography for two short independent film titled “Don’t’ Wake the Baby” and “The Hair Cut” with Director and Screenwriter, Elvis Wilson. Presently she is working with Elvis Wilson on shooting a full-length feature Micro-budget movie titled “Fogg” to be completed by 2016.
Tamara has been recognized commercially for her still photography, garnering several awards such as IPA 2nd, 3rd and many honorable mentions. Recently her Southern Route series has been recognized by Photo Lucida 2012, 2013 Finalist List and featured online including NYTimes Lens Blog and PBS News Hour. Two images from Southern Route were “Selected” for American Photography 29 and 30 publications and Communication Arts Photography Annual 2014.
Tamara’s work has been included in several group shows most recently for Women Behind the Lens at East Tennessee State University in conjunction with Tipton Gallery.
She lives in Nashville, Tennessee and is pursuing her MFA from Hartford University.
